Terms of Service
Using heft.io means you accept these terms. They may change; if something significant shifts, you'll hear about it. Continued use means you accept the latest version.
Scope
These terms cover the heft.io analytics service.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account and credentials secure, and for anything that happens under your account. Use the service lawfully. You need a valid email address to hold an account.
Cancellation and termination
You can cancel or delete your account at any time. When you do, the data is gone – no copies kept.
Access may be suspended or terminated for breaching these terms. The service can be refused at any time. Abuse results in immediate termination.
Changes to the service
Parts of the service may change or go away. There's no liability for that.
Ownership
You're responsible for the content and data you put through the service. Your site data and analytics are yours – heft.io doesn't claim ownership of them.
Feedback you send may be used to improve the service, without payment or attribution. Don't imply affiliation with heft.io or use its branding without permission.
Privacy and data
Data is processed as described in the Privacy policy. The DPA is part of these terms when GDPR or similar law applies to your use. You're responsible for complying with any privacy or data protection laws that apply to you.
Site data isn't sold. It's processed only to run the service, via the subprocessors listed at Subcontractors. You own your website data.
Per default, analytics data is not shared or available to the public. However, sites can be configured to allow public access to analytics data. When enabled, the data is available to anyone with the URL and is limited to the previous 14 days.
Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." There's no guarantee it'll meet every requirement or be error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, there is no liability for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service or these terms.
Account holders are covered by the Service Level Agreement, which defines uptime commitments.
